Steve Stoichev has just uploaded a very cool QlikView application on the Share QlikViewsportal that allows you to upload your graphs to Facebook and Twitter.
I went through the application and I have to say it’s very neat (see samples screenshot)
You can specify the server and the path where to upload the pictures. You can then provide your Twitter or FB login & password and you are good to go (I did test in case you were wondering)…
Steve has kindly created a default FTP space on his server, but you can of course set your own server.
The application itself is simple, but the real beauty of it is in the internal code and the opportunities that it can give to your current applications by adding this “module”.
So, a big round of applause to Steven for this app, chapeau! I like it so much that I already want to put forward some features requests:
- Add an upload to Twitpic functionality
- Add a SFTP upload option
